AUDI QUATTRO CONCEPT
Created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Audi Ur-Quattro's debut in 1980, the new Audi Quattro Concept is a fitting, if not overly derivative, tribute. Powered by a turbocharged inline five-cylinder engine — like the original — good for 408 hp, the Quattro Concept also features a six-speed manual gearbox, leather-lined Sparco seats, a modified MMI infotainment system with a rally racing twist, LED headlamps that adjust direction both vertically and horizontally, and, thankfully, a futuristic angular body that no one's going to confuse with the boxy stylings of the original.

AUDI CROSSLANE COUPE CONCEPT It might look like a cross between an SUV and an A1, but according to the company, theAudi Crosslane Coupe Concept puts an extreme stress on the "Coupe". Built atop a Multimaterial Space Frame, it's powered by a plug-in hybrid drive that pairs a 1.5L three-cylinder TFSI engine and two electric motors, giving it 177 hp, a 0-62 mph time of 8.6 seconds, and astonishing 213 mpg fuel economy. Other features include a 2+2 seat layout, a unique electrically-powered trunk, trapezoidal LED headlights, and a stylish interior. |
